Josh U. shot this antelope at 385 yards with a 30-06. Guide–Joel B What a great deer. This deer had the symmetry and the width going for him. I was told he was 24″ wide, but it looks like he’s closer to 30″ Some pretty good photography going on there! Justin C. from Colorado shot this 5X5 whitetail on November 22, 2005 Heather R. with a huge coyote killed on October 17, 2006. This coyote had to weigh over 50 pounds, and had the thickest pelt I have ever seen! It came within 50 yards, and Heather’s .270 took the big dog with very little pelt damage. Pete Page from Flagstaff, AZ with a great buffalo shot with a bow. Pete took the 50 yard shot while hiding behind an old barn–Nerves of steel! Fill early, or hear so many coyotes howling that you just have to try and call some in, Carl and guide were glassing for deer and decided to start calling coyotes. Starting from 1000 yards out, 3 coyotes came in and were greeted with a 115 grain ballistic tip (yep, it did mess up a chance at a nice deer, but don’t tell Joel). “Wish you were here C.J. Buddy–next year for sure!” Darrin and Dennis Downum with two big buffalo. Any more ice skating tricks on the way home Dennis? Father and son with a couple of opening day mule deer, Larry and Luke Huch with two awesome deer-one 25″ and one 26″.
